I'm inspired to write, the words flow as my mind whirrs; I catch them in ink. I've always had a passion for writing - it's in the genes and recently I've reignited that childhood freedom and creativity and started writing poetry and children's stories. It all began when I was trying to decide whether to have a baby and I felt compelled to write a poem about my struggle. Being a bipolar mother is no mean feat but writing the poem 'Maybe Baby' crystallised for me that it was my greatest desire to have a child. And I'm very proud to say I now have a beautiful daughter who keeps me going on my darkest days. Over the last few years I've had a few poems published in anthologies which you can buy on Amazon: Writing on the Lake and In the Footsteps of Poets. I also had a poem made into a song by my talented husband which was then used in a BBC programme. I make gifts and greetings cards with my work which you can find in my shop.
