Well, it would seem that I'm terrible at my own marketing; a common pitfall amongst us creatives! I still don't have a website ready to share and it's April! I need to take some time this Easter to finessing it and getting it out there, ready for the next term.   For a long time I pondered that I didn't need/couldn't afford a website. But I'm a marketer and I can edit websites no problem, so I'm setting one up myself in WordPress. I was recently invited to write a guest blog for Abstract Artist Christina Sadler on her website ' Maker who doesn't make '.  So I've made a radical decision to close my website as it was too expensive and most of my business comes from referrals. Instead I've set up a portfolio , blog and I'm selling my gifts through an Etsy shop . The three sources are targeted; if someone wants to hire me for copy they can view my portfolio , if they want to find out more about me they can read my blog and for my merchandise they can visit my Etsy shop ! My business is quite diverse; copywriting and creative writing so it makes sense to split them. See what you think, any feedback gratefully received.
